Parents in our community are enthusiastically organizing an annual Post Prom Party for all Marathon High School students. All MHS students are invited to attend the Post Prom Party even if they don’t attend the school Prom. Check this site often for updates!

Parents in our community enthusiastically organized another successful annual Post Prom Party for all Marathon High School students. More than 166 MHS students and guests attended the Post Prom Party on April 22.  Thank you to all the volunteers for your time and energy to make this year’s event a huge success!

How You Can Help!
This inclusive party is completely funded through donations from individuals, community organizations and businesses. Monetary contributions are used to cover event expenses for student prizes, food, beverages and entertainment. Adult volunteers are also needed for event planning, asking for sponsorships, and chaperoning and helping the night of the event. Please consider volunteering your time and/or donating money for this worthwhile event!

Committee's mission and objectives 
Our mission is to protect teenagers' lives by hosting an annual chaperoned, substance-free Post Prom party that Marathon High School students want to attend. 
To do this we will:
  • Choose a centrally located facility 
  • Offer free food, beverages, activities, entertainment, and gifts and prizes that appeal to students 
  • Solicit area businesses, merchants, organizations and community members for monetary sponsorships 
  • Seek feedback from students 
  • Develop policies and permissions to keep students safe and protect committee members, volunteers, the venue and the school 
  • Promote the event and our mission to students, parents, the community; and publicly recognize all sponsors
